retweet from BBC: Manchester United have written to FA to say no over-age players apart from Ryan Giggs can be selected for Team GB. Story on PA now.

it should be, but it isn't, not with fergie. don't see why the likes of jevans, jones or smalling shouldnt be considered (if the latter 2 don't go the euros), the experience would be good for them, and they havent been overplayed this season.

If anyone pays over £20m for Modric this summer they should be taken out and shot

Do you think teams would set out to stop cabaye and Newcastle the same way they would set out to stop Modric and spurs, and would it not show up in those stats.

here f*ck off, Joycer wasnt on the board today, I was trying to get a rise out of him

Whoever of the young lads, Jones, Smalling, WEllbeck and Cleverly, dont go the Euros, then they can go to the Olympiccs

not worth risking the wrath of the manager, this is the type of thing he usually goes apeshit over.

didnt actually realise that, i thought the olympics started earlier in july. that makes it more understandable alright. why giggs then though, and not scholes if he stays on?

Giggs I would imagine because he only played for Wales and has probably indicated to Fergie he would be interested in playing
