Absolutely loving the SNES mini. Emulation just isn't a patch on it.

I've been looking at both the mini nes and mini snes. They look great and play great but i'm fucked if i have the time to be playing 30 or 21 old games. i can't keep up with the current gen games I have. (that said, i did just order 3 games off gamestop with my credit - far cry primal, dishonored 2 and Dragon Age Inquest. all delivered for €30. I'm a joke  )

started on Fallout 4. not sure if i'll go all in on all the building and scavenging, don't have the time for that. picks up where fallout 3 left off, in a spiritual and game-play scene. graphics are all right, nothing special so far. lots of quests to keep me busy.

i did start to play Dragon Age Inquisition, but the battle system was terrible. press and hold the button to fight, that's it really.

Building your own basic gaf is worth the effort so as you have somewhere to keep your swag, craft weapons, stimpaks etc.

eg you get into missions that are basically impossible without power armour, so somewhere to store and repair it is essential.

Max out your intelligence ahead of any other skill, it'll increase the overall exp points you receive. The idiot savant perk adds a random multiplier, so add that too.

I barely used the power armour at all. I hated the HUD it has. I used late in the game for exploring the glowing sea but first time I just used radaway, etc and ran as fast as I could.

cheers for the tips. got a free PUGB d/l off my friend. been playing a bit of that. my first game and i picked up a load of guns, level 3 backpack lots of rifles. all good gear. i had one major problem, however, i hadn't a fucking clue how to load the guns  Pressed all the buttons on the controller and nothing was happening. figured that i hadn't picked up the right ammo. kept getting killed, obviously. had to google what to go. bloody press and hold to load. craziness to do that. anywho, had a much better game today and got 8th.

Have been so busy the past couple of months, haven't been able to play anything in weeks.

That'll all change over the break, gonna hit it hard.

Monster Hunter World is getting great reviews too. I'm still in the middle of Persona 5 though, played over 50 hours and still loads of it left.

For anyone who isn't a bot cruises by here, I'd like to recommend Star Trek Fleet Command, which was just released for Android and IOS.

Online strategy, RPG and base-builder in the Star Trek stylings. Gonna go out on a limb and say it's my favourite-ever mobile game.

Curious to see how far you can get before you hit a paywall but it's really impressive; so much to do and get done.
