Thanks Phier, yeah Nicholas Jaar would be good but he's clashing with Moderat.
Wasn't that gone on Booka Shade at Metropolis last year. Will keep an eye out for the others.

Have been listening to loads of techno this week, this came up on my youtube. It seems Deadmau5 goes by Testpilot now also. This is pretty good, way better than the bombastic tripe he usually puts out.

New album from Paul Draper of Mansun out today. Really enjoying it so far, sounds just like a Mansun album. Coming to Ireland next year too I see. Would have loved to see Mansun but that should be close enough for me.

Tumbled into the spotify radio vortex last night and....well, I found it. The worst tune ever. It's real.
I guess there's nothing wrong with that gabba shit or hard house or whatever it's called, if you're into it, but the voiceover is the most embarrassing thing I've ever heard.

New album from Fever Ray, kinda like a mix of The Knife style and Fever Ray.

People are obviouisly more interested in Tool, but the new one by A Perfect Circle came out today. Seems decent enough, but actually sounds more like Puscifer than APC. Loads of piano and synthy sounds, guitars scaled back loads. Gonna give it a few go-arounds though. Good to finally hear new stuff from MJK. A good appetiser for this Tool album, whenever it actually materialises.
