yeah no harm to anyone but activities would be of no interest on a stag at all.

drinking is the best way forward, but i just want to find slightly different ways to do it. rather than just pile into loads of different bars.

on my own stag we came a cropper a few times because we tried to go to too many different places and the lads were often not let in.

aye, we have this in our favour too. that's always handy.

we originally picked a weekend in ediburgh where the scotland rugby team were playing a home match. fuck that. we changed it immediately.

hibs are at home on the weekend we're there so we might have that as an option. £25 for a scots championship match, though. i really like easter road but i'm not sure everybody would see the value in it. you cant drink at the matches either.

Was at one in liverpool when Everton were playing at home. The stags mates from home mostly went to the game, two liverpool fans went to the anfield stadium tour and the rest of just got pissed in the pub with no interest in leaving. I think there was a heineken cup game or though, very little interest in football amongst my mates.

i didn't even get to see the utd game on my own stag. it was a 3pm KO and the scots are very funny about having chipped boxes in their pubs.

asked one barman if they were showing it and he said 'no, it is illegal in this country to show 3pm kick-offs'. gave me some look too.

the fine is ridiculous to be fair. i know one busy pub in london that actually closed because they got caught. the fine bankrupted him.

Lad I know was telling me he bought one of those Raspberry Pi things and with a bit of software and plugging it into the TV he's got access to FOX Sport or whoever it is that streams all the premier league games in HD, NFL TV, MLB TV, HBO, Hulu etc.

Might have cost him £20

i met a fella from tipperary during the summer and he was mad for the royal family.

i thought he was taking the piss because i said i lived in england but he gushed for about half an hour about them. said the queen is the person he respects most in the world.

he was actually a very nice fella. a big soft lump. he wasn't boorish about it.

kept thinking he'd tell me he was winding me up at any minute, but his missus was just sat beside him, nodding away in agreement. they absolutely hero-worshipped prince charles, were nearly in tears talking about him!
