Didn't know what that was, had to look it up. Gold. Those two guys are very funny.BadTurtle wrote:The new Game of Mobile Homes is brilliant. Still laughing half an hour later.
I expect they'll make their way on to RTE sooner or later, where they won't be funny any more.

do you have to have seen much of GoT to be able to watch it?
I'm assuming it's a send-up yeah

They're really only small superficial links to it, I'd say they thought itd be a good way to bring in viewers.eric the beard wrote:do you have to have seen much of GoT to be able to watch it?

im just being extra careful atm because we have just started watching GoT.
it is seemingly impossible to avoid spoilers for this show. even by just browsing the internet casually for nothing in particular I can end up accidentally finding so much stuff out, I've never known a show like it.

I like it. we've nearly finished the first season and I expect it'll get even better.

Thanks for the heads up on Game of Mobile Homes. Class!! Loved their tallafornia swipe. It was gold for the first series. They actually started getting involved with TV3 then though, and were pally with the Tallafornians which took away alot of the appeal and bite. I can't see them getting pally with the knackers though
brave feckers!

we've watched quite a few episodes in a short period of time and it must be starting to affect how I speak. someone called really early and woke me up the other day, when they apologised for waking me I said to them 'IT MATTERS NOT'
We've been reading the books at the same time and are well ahead of the series so it can be a bit weird getting deja vu watching the show at times because when you're reading the books you're imainging the characters and places exactly like they are in the show.
