Some of my mates say they cant wear one it feels weird yada yada and it does feel really strange at the begining but after a couple of days you wouldnt even notice it. If you're going to wear it at all I'd say just leave it on the whole time otherwise it's always going to feel strange when you put it back on.

too late. I've always grimaced when we've talked about it because i really really am not into jewellery.Lola wrote:I would phrase this concern to your fiance very, very carefullyeric the beard wrote:bought wedding rings at the weekend

so i decided I'd go for a plain black steel ring.
she wasn't having this so we managed to reach a compromise and I've bought a black steel ring but it has a silver line through it.
I'm sure i'll get used to it but i never really thought it was that big a deal, loads of blokes i know don't wear one (mainly older blokes).
To be fair, I never used to wear rings because I found them to be uncomfortable. I started wearing one my Dad bought me about 10 years ago and I now never take it off. It gets to the point where you feel odd without it. You'll be fine.eric the beard wrote:too late. my bro wore a ring for years since his dodgy teen ring wearing days and as cheap silver rings do it came apart so when they got their wedding rings he got a replica made in white gold or silver, they're the same thing to me. he likes it.
but yeah, rings aren't for me either but if i were to get married i'd probably go for a solid silver ring. or maybe wood or stone.
or haribo.

out of the box its grand if you just want to watch netflix etc. Its pretty cool actually, your phone is essentially a remote. Once you go into netflix you just hit the cast button, and chromecast automatically plays any netflix content sent, you dont waste any battery on your phone or anything, it does all the workeventSecurity wrote:whats the verdict?
but there are a few apps you can get that improve it tenfold. I have it setup at the moment so that my laptop is a media server, and I can access it and play shit on it from my phone over the wifi. just had to get an app called plex which cost €3.50. Its savage. Have another app coz plex doesnt do subtitles, called videostream. again I can control everything with my phone
the tabcasting is not great coz it transcodes the video as you go, was trying to stream the matches yesterday and it was a few seconds behind and not very smooth. But thats still in Beta so hopefully google themselves will have sorted that out.

oh yeah? must have a look. I just left the srt file in the same folder and videostream picked it up for the movie I was watching. The plex stream was much smoother though, videostream stopped a couple of times
