They make Ireland look like the donegal events thread here in fairness.

So you're slagging Ireland now?

Ireland was always ripe for slagging, so long as you're Irish.
But if you want a serious answer: Yes, we've generally got a bad dress sense.

Wait a second there, I've been to Germany and like most of mainland Europe we've way better dress sense than them.

You think? Its the whore boots and minis in the freezing cold that always get me.
I find they look hot here without looking cold, if you get me.

Also, bet Rosemary never expected this from her thread.
Maybe it might inspire her next picture.

I see what she's trying to do, esp now it's been explained  but sadly the characters kind of don't work for me.

The backgrounds look stunning, though

Only ones I've ever seen dress like that are skangers or 16 year olds.
Hardly a true reflection now.

Is phier actually bemoaning the fact that Ireland is full of women who dress slutty?

Maybe it's this sorta fucked up brain activity that lead him to murder pure Eric.

Oh that's different.
Nothing more unattractive than a sexy bird in slutty clothing looking cold.
Complete turn off.

no woman is cold with 28 wkds in her

they only get cold when they get back to your gaff and realise you want to stick a penis in them

I'm not sure Irish women dress THAT slutty. Some do sure but it's a very particular an age/ social class where it's all on show.

Could someone do a diagram please charting the sluttiness of Irish women's dress sense as measured against other countries. Say with Saudi full hijab women on one end of the spectrum, Brazilian carnival dancers on the other. Throw in English slapper. German backpacker. That sort of thing.

Do we need a poll? Can we get the ESRI on the case.

Irish women in general definitely go overboard in terms of dressing up for a night out.

May or may not mean added sluttiness.

i never see really over the top slutty dressing

the only really "inappropriate" stuff you see is junior cert results night discos. i used to live next to Time and some of the baby deer legs youd see

to clarify, baby deers have awkward thin shakey legs and big hooves - a 15 year old in a mini skirt and front loaded platforms with 6 inch heels kinda looks the same as they try to teeter about the garage forecourt next to the nightclub wincing down vodka from a 7up bottle

are they wearing out jeans and the dress as a top in front of their parents and firing the jeans off in their mates gaff who's mam is a drunkard who dosent care what they all wear out?

as a matter of fact trends today are veering towards girls covering up more than they have in recent years

i was in liverpool a couple of years ago and some of the spandex neon minis with bellies on show were horrific (from a fashion point of view, not from a .. this is spoiling my night point of view)

what does the big character at the front mean though?

i don't understand it. what's she trying to say?

she is obviously using exaggerated proportions to depict a sense of isolation and detachment from the hoi polloi. The foreground characters are at contrast with their surroundings with their awkward poses and uneasy, pensive expressions

or maybe she just really likes bratz dolls
