Guesses for the second announcement.

Rumours of bands playing at the Electric Picnic Festival are always circulating – sometimes they are true, sometimes not… All discussions of non-confirmed artists also take place here. Any bands you'd love to see?
Well Moderat hopefully as they played Electric Zoo last year, Martha & the Vandellas (Have just played Dublin), the Prodigy or Basement Jaxx, Alexis Taylor (Seeing that Hot Chip rents a house at EP), the Bloody Beetroots, Los Campesinos.

Someone on the FB page said Blondie, and they do have European festival dates right up to EP so they might be a goer.
tune-yards would be good/likely if she's around Europe then.

Location: I heard you have a compilation of every good song ever done by anybody.

Public Service Broadcasting, Manics, Chance the Rapper, Maya Jane Coles or Anna Calvi would be great. Think they're all touring this summer.

Isn't bonobo playing longitude?therefore highly unlikely to play ep.

woldn't mind seeing blondie or chrissie hynde down there.would have liked to see martha and the vandellas the other night as well so here is hoping for tuesday.

No big dance act announced yet so b jaxx or prodigy in the electric arena would be refreshing

I'm presuming that Damon Albarn will be announced based on nothing other than he is touring and hasn't announced an Irish date yet.
No ticket bought so hopefully will be a decent announcement to tip me over the edge.

Mogwai have self-confirmed, and Caribou seem to be a badly kept secret.

You have good form Mr. Mexicola so I believe this... I am sure most will be more than happy with these ... :)

(apart from Damon Albarn AFAIK) all of these are previous performers at EP.
