Haha, they panned over the crowd at HT and you could hear an American shout "Yeah my dick is in the camera! Look at my dick!"

5-1 was very flattering to Portugal, who showed a different class from a team preparing for the world cup to our lowly band of misfits finishing off a season.

Houlihan was a highlight, our defence the low point.

Least Ronaldo didn't score.

Was our defence not two Reading lads, a Derby lad and a Brighton lad? Sure they're always going to get annihilated by a decent attack. Playing way above their level last night.

So it looks like Vela is definitely coming back to Arsenal. Not a bad signing at all for €4m.

on a similar note, we're apparently trying to bring pogba back and have been quoted a price of somewhere between £40m and £60m depending on the source

Pogba would be in high demand. Why go back to United now when he'd have his pick of clubs?

Looking up NUFC news and saw an interview with Mark Viduka. Totally forgot he played for us.

Made me think - what other players had played for clubs that I just plain forgot about.

Ronny Johnson & Jon Dahl Tomasson - Newcastle.
Jimmy Bullard - Fulham.
Don Hutchinson - Liverpool, Everton & WHU.
The Prune - Man Utd.

That's it really, just plain forgot about Viduka.

Good article about why the rest of the world hates the english fa/UEFA, and why blatter's rhetoric about racism actually works

John Arne Riise signed for Fulham and was on the website holding a Fulham top and all, a couple of hours later he signed for Liverpool. His mother was his agent and got out of the deal somehow. It lead to Fulham singing "Mummys boys" at him every time we played pool until he signed for us for real. Then when he left us he put a big rant up at the Fulham boo boys and signed it "Mummys Boy"

I don't see anything in that article that validates Blatters comments about racism or makes it work. Rous might have been as bad as or worse than Blatter but if the paper trail all leads to Bin Hammam buying votes from African FAs that's where it leads. Blatter bringing up sins of the past just sounds like him scrambling to defend himself but I dont see it as valid

I'm not saying it's valid at all, but that's why it resonates. Completely cynical and manipulative from blatter, but there's a reason it works. And not simply "African and Asian federations are greedy/corrupt"

Ah I dont know, you'd have to think people would see through him. I know once you start accusing african of corruption your leaving yourself open to allegations of corruption but the evidence all seems to stand up so it's a cheap shot from Blatter and I'd like to think people woudlnt buy into it. But yeah once you start syaing racist people will panic.
Somebody should just shoot Blatter. We could buy a mercenary from Africa sure it's cheap as chips to buy one of those lads they'd do anything for a bit of money
