I ordered the Roma away shirt, it's a white shirt and retro in style, so I'm hoping it's a good enough fake

only want it for playing footy in

I'm intrigued to see Hodgson's squad on Monday. If I was him, I'd just say fuck it and go with youth. No one is expecting them to get out of the group. You just know he'll bottle it and bring the likes of Lampard and Cole but I think they'd have a chance with an 11 of
---------------Hart----
Johnson-Jagielka-Cahill-Shaw
----Gerrard---Henderson-
Sterling---Barkley---Ox---
---------Sturridge-------

You've the likes of Welbeck, Rooney, Llalana to come off the bench then as well. No way he'll drop Rooney though, unless he isnt fit

at least they'd have tournament experience going into the euros

I wouldn't be sure Sturridge could work as a lone striker. I don't think Ox should be starting either.

No way would I start Barkley over Rooney. If Wilshere is fit he should start too.

Sturridge has to start up top, lone striker or not. Him and Sterling together is a must, then I'm not sure. Its between Ox and Lallana. I'd probably pick Ox just to have a fair bit of pace right across the front line.

I reckon Henderson and Gerrard could be an absolute mess for England too.

I was talking more in terms of building for the future, not necessarily a team to succeed and make it to the quarters or semis. I severly doubt Rooney would make the squad for 2018

I would start Barkley because he'll play that bit deeper than Rooney and make it more of a midfield 3, like he does at Everton, as opposed to Rooney who plays too far up and isolates the midfield.

I think Barkley is still a bit raw. He's very head down, charge towards the goal all the time. Rooney will at least look for players. TBH Wilshere would probably be best as the number 10 for England if he's fit, he's perfect for picking out the runs of the front 3. England are really lacking that sort of vision in their midfield. I think Barkley could be a better option wide too, where his strengths are still useful but his flaws aren't as damaging.

Was tempted myself seeing them at 14/1, but i've seen us been spanked by city 3 times this year, just can't put money on it!
