He'll probably go to Chelsea, they're in bad need of more attacking mids.

Or maybe United if the £150m summer spending spree happens.

Nice warm up of footy tomorrow for me ahead of next Saturday's all-day World Cup session

Argentina vs Slovenia - 11.45am
England vs Honduras - 1.45pm
USA vs Nigeria - 3pm
Ireland vs Costa Rica - 5pm

Perfect times, then out after the Ireland game.

2 reasons. Firstly because he went on strike to get his move. Secondly because the last thing I wanted this summer was another attacking midfielder. If we needed an AM maybe I'd be a bit more forgiving of him. We need re-enforcement elsewhere.
Unless you have a limited budget
Thats exactly what we have. In fact thats what everyone has. We need a striker, RB, defensive mid, winger, back up centre half all more than we need another attacking mid. We have Ozil, Cazorla, Wilshere, Rosicky, Chamberlain who all play where Cesc does.

Even if we spent a £100m this summer (won't happen) we still need to spend it on other areas.
Wenger could fill all those positions and buy Fabergas and still have change from 50 million

yeah, with squad players. But arsenal need a proven striker, thats gonna cost some serious dough as is a midfielder. NO more pissing about with 2nd level players, they need the very top level.

Forgot the ireland match was on.

Switched it on there and Doyle scored a great header. Just from watching 10-15 mins of this its so refreshing to how we played under Trap. Fuck the results, at least we try play football now.

Yeah we've been fair solid bar Forde's 2 flaps. Doyle looks back to his best, a real handful. Pilkington doing well at times too. Costa Rica look absolutely shite. Is this their first 11? If so, they're guaranteed to get 3 pastings.

A game of 2 halves it is ha! They made us look the team with 10 men in second half. Yer man the former arsenal fella Joel Campbell coulda beaten us on his own. Brutal. McGeady was abysmal when he came on. McClean still looks an amateur half the time. Hoolihan looked class in his brief cameo.

He's still an Arsenal player. Could be in the squad next season now the permit is sorted out.

Ah right, well ye have a cracking player there. He looked a world beater in the second half. He could cause England serious problems. Their keeper made some good saves too. The rest of their team is fairly shite, but there's a chance of an upset with those 2 at the top of their game.

The list goes on and on. Only saw recently that Ribery is out as well.

Yeah. Don't see enough of Reus that it's a lot more upsetting he's missing. Him and Falcao leading what should be a strong Columbia are the two biggest losses for me

Couldn't give a fuck about him, but i'd prefer to see the worlds best players performing at the world cup.

Don't think anyone feels bad for Handsome Franck. Or France in general.

Exactly. I'd rather see Griezman make a splash anyway.

I fancy France to do quite well.
