I'm starting to notice a lot of England fans saying things like "theres no expectations this year so that'll make us better"

Looks like Mauro Zarate to West Ham is a done deal. He's in London to agree on terms and do a medical.

Haven't heard wind of him in years, was great in championship manager though.

Pro's and con's for all of the candidates, none of them will last two years with Levy and some fans being so unrealistic in expectation.

I remember reading somewhere that during training and when giving orders from the touchline, he has perfect English.

wellbeck making noises about leaving united. was it fergie or uniteds success that meant folk were happy to be a squad player as opposed to a guaranteed starter?

and looks like macheda is off to cardiff, finally getting him off our books

Yaya Touré admits ‘it would be an honour to play for PSG’

What a dick move. Every summer he seems to want a new contract.

It's Man City. Why would anyone have any loyalty to the badge?
You get what you pay for, mercenaries.

They can have no complaints. They've won two trophies largely off his back this season.

They'd probably be as well get rid now anyway, he's 31 now so his resale value is never going to be higher.

I understand they're mercenaries - but for the third summer in a row to be leaking stuff to the press / declaring unrest / having his agent speak out - is just a bit too far. Like jesus Yaya, you can't be doing it EVERY year ffs. Very greedy behaviour.

They should just say "fuck it", sell him & replace him with Pogba.

So Pochetino signs a 5 year deal. Wonder if Moyes to Southampton is a goer now. Would be a nice job for him, but they need a positive manager.

Yeah, they're gunna go for someone with a bit of flair and style. Wonder would Laudrup be an option?

Surely Moyes to Celtic has to happen.

Laudrup is a great shout actually. Could work out better for Southampton in the long run.
