Klinnsman is a fucking maniac

DeAndre Yedlin is a really poor player too

He seems to get eaten alive by a decent winger whenever he's up against one. A decent MLS winger (Darlington Nagbe for example)

Good going forward though

He was going on about that in Jan. Shock horror Arsenal had met RVPs agent. Never mind he's also Vermaelens agent.

Some of Cantona's quotes about Blatter and Platini are hilarious & bang on the button. :)
It’s politics when you get to that level.

Platini was a great player, he’s a great man of football, but today he’s a politician, just like the rest.

On the other hand, it would be a good thing that as they are all politicians. a former player could be elected head of FIFA. When you have to choose between the plague and cholera, it’s best to get it from the doctor.

It’s about settling scores, a political war. Platini wants to be FIFA President, Blatter wants to remain it. Blatter has started to say, “Qatar, it’s true it was a bad idea, but it was Platini’s idea.”

Some people criticise the World Cup in Qatar, others the World Cup in Brazil. It’s also Platini who gave the Under 21 European Championships to Israel, which is just as disrespectful in terms of human rights as giving the World Cup to Qatar, given Israel’s policy.

He also gave the Euros to Ukraine, which was not an example of democracy

Gah. Hope Evra doesn't think he'll be starting next season.

he can come over and play with Andy O'Brien for the whitecaps

also, there's an excellent series of ESPN 30 for 30 Docs following the US National team on the road to the world cup, here's the first episode:

Good to see the Fifa fair play ruling is working well!

Utd players wages. Ashley Young
why is that a shock? it was common knowledge that was what he was getting when he signed

Some of those are more reasonable than I'd have thought. Any decent agent will be making moves soon to get big wage hikes for Uniteds young good players.

I don't remember hearing Young was on that, but it's all the more reason to despise him. 5th best paid player at the club after Mata signed, that's horrendous.

Sure it was everywhere when he signed. TBH I'd have been delighted to sign him back then. He's gone backwards at United. He wasn't always so one dimensional.
