Ah no I had a look on twitter just now and there was a few mentions last night

All the Liverpool fans are distraught in here this morning. Especially the ones who have been really vocal all season.

you'd have to feel for them sure :)

Meh twas probably done and dusted. City will win their last 2 4-0.

Come on you Villaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Be so funny if they hammered Villa and lost one nil to an Andy Carroll last minute screamer.

Star and Mirror (I know) both reporting Martinez is wanted by Levy, he would be absolutely mental to take it. Yes Roberto, come to Spurs where you hand over control to the bald gnome and watch your reputation go down the tubes...

Martinez has himself set up now to get a better job than Spurs. He should stay with Everton until a better position opens up.

Heard a few papers linking Utd to Muller. Just red top nonsense, or are decent papers saying it?

Next season might be less impressive than this one though, no Lukaku, Barry or Deulofeu will hurt them, and they need to keep Coleman and Baines out of the reaches of the big clubs.

Absolutely, another good season next year and he'll walk into a regular CL teams job

I've never seen a more positive manager either. If he said we could win the league next year, I'd probably believe him. I can't see him leaving for a few years at least though, especially given his record of turning down clubs. Just hope Kenwright can give him some money to spend... :?

Well the Bayern chairman himself talked about it. He said that if Muller wants to leave to work with Van Gaal again, then he will have to request it himself.

Plus Muller was not to happy about being left out for the Bernabeu match

Martinez doesnt seem like the type to have his head turned by Spurs or whoever. Sure didnt he stick with Wigan when Liverpool were after him.

I don't know. I'd say Bill Kenwrights schtick about no cash could wear thin on him pretty quick, if a club like Spurs were interested. With the huge increase in revenue the league enjoyed in the last 2 seasons, how can Everton still be spending the same chump change each year as they always were?

I think big clubs would be a bit hasty to go for him already though. As seasons go, it hasn't been that far and above what David Moyes ever did. And as has been mentioned, he's owed an awful lot of success this season to the loan signings.

Didn't he make those loan signings though? I don't see how they count against him.

Another day, another Everton clear out. Heard it all before during the Moyes era. Those papers are shameless. As for the players leaving, Everton dont need to sell so any club wanting Coleman or Barkley will pay well over the odds.

Man City's FFP sanctions according to some guy in the press association:

21-man CL squad instead of 25; 60m euro fine over 3 years; no rise in CL squad wage bill allowed. Same as for PSG.

I wouldn't count them against him, but its very different building success on loan signings than it is on purchased players, even from a continuity POV. He did extremely well with his loanees, but his ceiling is being set by the big clubs.... Chelsea - Lukaku and City - Barry.
If Chelsea and Man City decided next season that Everton were too good to be giving players to, where would he go then?

Makes a bit of a mockery of the whole thing. Good old UEFA.
