LeBron James has opted out of his contract, and will be a free agent.

God it'd be great if the Warriors made a push for him.

I don't think he'll be leaving Miami, just a bit of brinksmanship

Also - Not looking forward to the wall to wall coverage of this over the summer

I think he will be, why else opt out? Wade and Bosh would have opted out to restructure their deals, but not Lebron. I'd say he's gone for sure, rumors now that him and Carmelo are looking for teams together.

I stayed up all night to watch the stupid Niners blow it against the Bears (game ended at 5am), and now I'm absolutely wrecked at work.

At my first leafs game tonight. They're playing Detroit and there a delay apparently because the Detroit bus was late leaving. Fucking amateur hour

Only a friendly, but still

I'm watching that right now too 8-)

Leafs missing their best player tonight in Kessel. Both teams fairly mediocre at best.

NHL games at arenas tend to be a bit sterile I think. ACC is generally quite quiet; Too many corporates in the seats. Places like Montreal have much better atmosphere.

OHL tends to be smaller more committed local support.

NHL is obviously much more skilful to watch though.

I prefer the smaller rink in the OHL tbh, and being closer, but still elevated makes the difference.

Also, I live a 5 minute drive from the Oshawa generals who are pretty decent (one of their guys was drafted 6th overall this year, plus bobby orr and all that), so that helps
