he's bound to have one of the talking ALFs. I desperately wanted one of those but they were very pricey back in the day. I imagine they probably cost a fair few bob now too.

Probably just mostly Pogs.

I've done previous clear outs of CDs. Just brought them to 2nd hand markets and stuff, should really do it again soon. I've hundreds that I wont ever get rid of but hundreds more that despite them being good there's no emotional or sentimental attachment.

its tragic but I could probably remember exactly where I bought each CD / record of mine and I'd have a rough idea of when as well

I'd be the same too. If I can't remember where/when listening to it grabbed me of effected me then it goes into "Sell" box though. I have just moved too many times in the last 4 years to hang on to them.
I'm slowly amassing old hard drives now too.

Dito with harddrives.

Though I've no value in any digital media, not even that bothered about losing photos.

Re. ALF, I do have ALF memorabilia, some of it is stuff I had as a kid others I've acquired as an adult (VHS, a much beloved ALF teddy... seriously). No talking ALF sadly. I have some copies of the ALF comic, a giant ALF mask head thing that my mates got. It's handmade by some woman who makes costumes, I wish I had the whole outfit, it barely looks like him though.

iirc the talking alf was basically just a teddy with a cassette player stuck in the back and you could buy different cassettes and it'd be like alf was reading you a story.

which obviously was brilliant.

the comics were great, used to get those.

I have an ALF teddy bear from the 80's. Ive been messing around with a music video for the band since i got the GoPro which has basically involved throwing the ALF doll around with the camera attached.

We took it to the beach last week and threw him in the ocean and recorded it to see what the under water camera was like. Good quality!

This is him here

it never showed him eating one though.

he was always just talking about it or chasing them.

probably never ate a cat in his fucking life.

Yeah, there was a great episode where ALF goes off cats completely. He figures out that people are giving them away in the classifieds and he fills a garage with the fucking things. He goes off them then when he discovers that kittens are cute.

I guess a cat massacre was never going to be family TV viewing, would have been an interesting moment though.

I watched a few episodes on youtube a while back and I still found it a very funny show.

not just for alf but the dad was a great comic actor.
