its just how some people prefer it. I don't see the harm in wanting to have it that way!

Yeah, but they are nine and eleven now. Handy ages, not babies and still shy of the moody teenage years. If I could freeze then at this age for a few years and then jump straight to adult would be sweet.

best of luck you boys

I didn't find out with either. can't put my finger on why but I just felt it would be bad luck

plus I know of 2 seperate situations where someone was told they were having a girl & bought all the pink stuff etc. and ended up having a boy.
they can only be 100% with boys apparently

some of the shops took the stuff back but not a lot
probably a done deal situation

one of the girls was a bit messed up afterwards though because she thought she was having a girl, spoke to this baby girl, named it etc.
felt they gave her the wrong baby, post natal depression

its a story to tell the kid when he grows up though. if she's over it by then.

Well you have to accept that they wont know 100% so people shouldn't get too carried away buying pink or blue.

Could always just buy "gender neutral" colours. Black is gender neutral, just raise your child emo.
Plus usen't it be the other way round, that blue was for girls and pink for boys? When you think about it it is a really weird and pointless concept to associate genders with colours.

We didn't find out, we preferred to find out on arrival. It kind of added to the exitement/build up for us.I can understand wanting to find out, but it wasn't for us.

Oh, and congrats Burro & Mooch!
