I was like that yesterday, but for pleasant reasons. went from Manchester to London via train on Sunday then out Sunday night, then had to find our way around London hungover out to Gatwick the next morning to fly home. Never doing that again, too hard to work out tubes buses and trains while tired and hungover.

On the friday night I was in Gorilla, just around the corner from Oxford Road station for a John Digweed thing, he was doing a 4 hour set. Left after two and a bit, was knackered from travelling. He was very good though, for 10 quid it was brilliant. Then Saturday we were in some underground club/pub nearby, steps down into it from the street. Twas alright, decent atmosphere but not the nicest of places. No idea what it's called. We didn't venture very far from Oxford street to be honest eric.

gorilla is a great place. I was in there yesterday evening. that whole area is probably my favourite part of Manchester nowadays.

that place you described is called the temple, but everyone around town knows it as the toilet (because it used to be a public lav). it smells yes but it has a great jukebox and some funny, rude graffiti on the bog walls.

I used to drink a lot down there (used to work just around the corner). guy garvey is in there a lot and even sang about the place in 'grounds for divorce'

'there's a hole in my neighborhood down which of late I cannot help but fall'.

Ah that's cool, interesting bit of info about the place. Yeah the temple hadnt forgotten its origins, the girlfriend was afraid to go to the jacks in there. We were in some place down the road as well for one, had disco balls in it. Wasn't up to much, that place.

Dropped my phone at the weekend, screen didn't crack so thought I was fine. Except, the actual screen under the glass actually HAD cracked, so won't display anything at all now (Galaxy S3). Went into a shop in town and they quoted me €180 for a repair....contacted Samsung directly, I'll see how much they're gonna charge,

Cheers, I really wouldn't have a clue how to go about fixing it though (even with instructional videos). Seems Samsung will do it for "up to £128", which I might go for.

I've never bothered using a case for my phone, that turns out to have been a bad idea.

Gorilla is nice. Not been to a gig there, but have seen some comedy and the grub is decent in there.

Went to holmfirth and hebden bridge on the weekend. Both very nice places for a day out. Driving around the peaks was great. And I got to go to Nora Battys house.
