We are addressing it, just slowly. Loads of things that used to be considered shameful aren't anymore and people generally feel freer to talk about how they feel.

My mom's cat died suddenly. Means little to me compared to the dog, but that means she has no animals left.
I must do something about this.

I flew KLM, Toronto to Amsterdam.

It was fine, good selection of in flight movies. Try to sit in aisle, I was sandwiched on my return flight.

I'd say so, people always deal with things differently, could be years before it really hits him

Meteor is going bye bye. Will be called Eir after September.

Sorry to see that, have been with them forever. Customer service has always been particularly good, in comparison to some of the horror stories you hear about vodafone and them.

It says they'll be the same company, same service, same everything. They better not start to slip.

they've always been the same company. they're just putting everything under the master brand by the sounds of it.
meteor was young, pay as you go focused. eircom was landline and internet, so older people
probably part of a wider plan to rebrand eircom

does anyone know when bringing alcohol on a flight, and you've got a certain allowance depending on the country. Is that limit only whats in your carry on, ie what you got in Duty Free. Or if i packed something in my checked in bag, would that count?

It's total I believe
Doesn't matter how you carry it. all depends on the customs of the country you're entering

Been tidying the house out and unpacking some boxes of stuff that hasn't been unpacked since I moved (18 months ago :? )

Anyway I found a Radiohead In Rainbows box set that I had. Don't have a record player now so thought I had no need to hang on to it.

Looked it up on ebay and the prices are ranging from £150 up to £320. Might have to sell now

"I know the ad says 150 quid, but with that bit of damage there I'll only give you 50."
"That damage is the reason it's not 250 quid."
"Ok, 55"
"Get out of my house."
