Thank fuck it's over. Doing overtime has really tired me out. Was in at half-six this morning and am not finished 'til half-five today. Not even going to go to the pub tonight I'm so wrecked.

Yep. Last two days have been my first getting up in the proper dark for work. It's a bit of a downer.

yeah getting up early doors in winter can be difficult.

tomorrow should be grand though, the weather is to be good all day.

my missus is not a fan of these early trips. it's saving us about 100 quid though. it has to be done.

My boss has arranged a conference call with some guy in Finland for Monday morning. At 9.30am. Finnish time.

Ugh.

There was guy who used to delvier stuff to our lab and his smell would linger for a few minutes after he'd been in, a real acrid stinging smell. His boss eventually brought it up with him, think it turned out to be purely down to a lack of showering. Dirty bastard.

Yeah 7.30, he thought it was only an hour ahead.

I won't be in work after 3 on Monday anyway!

I'm considering going on the dry for the weekend. Last few weeks have been a bit mad.

the muse gig in manchester is so far away (april next year) that it's not on my radar whatsoever.

was really hoping they'd play some winter / autumn dates.

Would you really be interested in seeing them these days lads? They've been awful for years.

EDIT: Muse, that is. You could probably describe U2 with that as well though.

i really liked the new album, which surprised me, so yeah I'm up for seeing them. it's been 8 years since i last went to a muse gig so i reckon i'd enjoy it.

I last saw Muse in about 2006 so I'd probably go again.

The new album was laughable though.

U2 I've never seen and the Mrs is keen so I'll probably try and get tickets for that. Won't be disappointed if I don't get any though.

Ah right, fair enough sure. I think those kind of shows are just not for me anymore. And I can't stand Muse these days.

If there was a guarantee of The Edge falling off the stage again I'd be more keen
