Yeah but the NRA are hardly gonna say that.

:?
That was my point, I was joking.
Ah gotcha. I get jokes.

I'd love that. I really like London, looking forward to going there in the New Year to visit my brothers.

Unrelated note: It's our work summer party tonight and it's going to be a tame affair. No office sexual tension, no bitching or fighting either. It's going to be be hammering the free booze and leaving as soon as I can.

Ah it'll be grand, more the novelty of getting sent over, flying BA and staying in (what looks like) a fancy hotel, free food etc.

Were supposed to be home Friday at 10:30pm, convinced them to wait so can have few pints & watch Ireland game

i suppose its different when i would go with work. it's just a real chore, have to be up at about 5am. first class travel (which isn't the case all the time) cant take the sting out of being up that early. don't get home until 9 or 10 that evening either.

i do usually get to see my mates down there and that's a nice bonus.

i have a mate who travels down 1-2 times every week with his job. i wouldn't have the legs for that at all.

I got to go to Los Angeles for work last year. Didn't fly first class but had a chauffeur to and from the airport and stayed in a swanky hotel in West Hollywood. 8-)

see, that would be more like it.

i wouldn't turn my nose up at that.

the same mate i mentioned travels the world with his job but he's at the point where he dislikes that part of it. he says he never really gets to see anywhere. it's all just offices and hotel rooms.

I enjoyed being in London. Not so much the work, or the travel every single fecking week. But the amount of options for things to do on any given evening in the city are unreal.

Yeah I'd a mate who worked for Ericsson for a while so travelled the world going to places you'd probably never visit otherwise but he said it looses the novelty after a while. Most people didn't stay in the roles that involved a lot of travelling for more than a few years

my mate has taken a much more boring job with the same organisation just so he wouldn't have to travel as much. think it took his toll on him.

but he still has to do trips to london regularly, but he can handle that.

i couldn't travel with a job at all. couldn't live out a suitcase nor would i want to. i don't see the appeal at all.

TBH, I've never even heard his music, but I seen him on an episode of Jools Holland that I recorded a few months back, and he gave me the willies.

Read an article yesterday saying that one of the ways Google recruit new techs etc is by monitoring searches.

So if you're searching for obscure programming phrases, whatever they may be, you might get a message that says "you're talking our language! Click here if you're up for a REAL challenge."

Kind of creepy, but would be really exciting too if it was you. Take the red pill shit.
