Just saw a pic on my fb, of someone whose name is Rachel, and two friends, wearing black jumpers with white lettering identical to the Repeal jumpers except with RACHEL across them.

Is it me or is that in very poor taste?

The Google’s Ideological Echo Chamber and surrounding furore is quite interesting.

Anyone heard of Springboard courses? Govt and EU funded third level education, usually for unemployed persons but some are open to all.

Applied for a few part-timers in DBS last night. H-Dip in software development, or data analytics, web & cloud tech, that sort of thing.

Sounds really hard, but would be deadly to do something completely different. Two evenings a week. Been working in magazines for 10+ years now, would be good to start working towards a career change.

I did my masters through it or something similar a few years ago. I was on the dole at the time so was eligible. Thing is it was a 2 year course and they cut the funding 2nd year. Luckily enough I got some work for the college while I was there which managed to cover me for the second year. So if you're considering it I'd make sure its fully funded before you sink a year of your time and work into it.
