Yeah there's going to be plenty of BS on the Repeal side too, embarrassing stunts and unhelpful posters galore.

fwiw I thought the Citizens Assembly came out with great recommendations that tally almost completely with my current feelings on it.
Same here. Its looking like it wont matter though as the referendum probably wont use the recommendation.

This week has been a doddle. nothing going in work. researching cars and new jobs. got my finish date as the 7th of November. Going to have to get cracking to apply for jobs now.

Got to LCD on Wed and Fri. A mate was messing about on TM yesterday and somehow there were two standing tickets available for last night. Great shows

Also met magic for the 1st time afterwards

Saw a tweet earlier saying "4chan users have been up all night" trying to figure out how to blame the Las Vegas shooting on muslims.

The last short while now, articles have started popping up, claiming ISIS statement says the guy "converted to Islam" in the past few months.

PJW pulling the absolute mickey off himself no doubt.

Urgh, rain rain and more rain. The sooner i get back to work the better.
Also, i would love to do this with my spare time, but it's unlikely.

Its extremely annoying already. The people I hate most are the people who say "its the extremes on both sides blah blah blah".
To be fair there are mentalists on the repeal side too. I'm just not gonna pay any heed to it at all tbh

be grand, i think i failed 3 times before I passed. pain in the hoop having to apply again. At least when I failed it the first time, i was allowed to drive by myself after that. like, i just proved to you that i'm not good enough but hey, irish laws back then

They're supposed to alright and if you arrive driving on your own they fail you without even doing the test.

i drove in on my own. they're not standing out looking for you. Arrive nice and early. afterwards, my instructor did stand out cos his guy was late, and it was absolutely pissing, so I just said I waited there with him until he buggered off and I hopped in the car

we all knew what was going on

I failed my first time cos I mounted the footpath when I pulled in to do my reverse turn. like, before I actually even attempted the manoevre. immediately applied for the next test, and got it next time

Failed my first time cos I didnt take care looking at possible oncoming traffic from side streets or some shit, was a complete farce. Next time I failed for doing it too much then. Nearly attacked the cunt. Third time I was in traffic for 80% of the test, was another joke, but a handy way to pass

Failed for a few observation issues, checking my blind spot etc. Also cut out a couple times which I never usually do, cause of nerves

I'd procrastinated not practicing for months and only got back at it the week before. And never got a pretest in. So no surprise I wasn't prepared enough.
