Had such a brilliant picnic, hard to find any faults in it.

Did so much random shit, did a silver metal work workshop, did a pottery making thing, went to the planetarium, lots of buzzing in trailer park. Heineken place was amazing on the friday night! nothing but happy times!

highlights
Kaytranada
Metronomy
Flume
John Wizards
Outkast
Blondie (her singing was almost non existent, but it was such craic in the crowd!)

others I cant think of right now.

Didn't go near red bull, i'd imagine they will get another late night area going next year cos i heard it was so packed.

Still loads of places I didn't make it to, so i guess that says a lot about the amount you can do.

Only lowlights were sbtrkt being completely shite, Nile Rogers ego, fka cancelling.

oh, the wailers in the sunshine eating awesome food was great. Also the beer frontier place.

RTE's coverage was dire. I imagine alot of bands didn't allow them to show their sets. Chic looked painful, yer man is an awful sickener.

He was....him, Vancouver Sleep Clinic (much louder than I expected), Slowdive, Portishead, Beck & Jungle were highlights for me.

Though Wild Beasts were a bit disappointing, but that might have been because they didn't suit the main stage. Would have been far better off in one of the tents.

I'm surprised I didn't see any of yous about this year, though that's probably because we camped in Oscar Wilde instead of Hendrix this time.

Wild Beasts were in the big tent at Forbidden Fruit after Public Enemy and everyone was complaining they didnt suit that  they don't suit anywhere.

Chic were great craic, but it was a bit embarrassing that Nile milked the applause for the entire length of that Daft Punk song playing over the PA at the end. Apart from Get Lucky instead of Soup for One that was probably the exact same set as Forbidden Fruit last year.

Beck was better though, he was flawless. Breaking into One Foot In The Grave, Do Ya Think I'm Sexy, I Feel Love...so good.

zook, well for the 1st time I really made the effort to actually see a good few bands every day which was a novelty for me, I had a few friends dj'ing around the place so it was obviously good craic to go and see them and I think our group just managed to stick together better than usual. We must have spent a solid 3 hours dancing to old hip hop at the beer frontier when our mates were playing there and it was an unbelievable laugh
Managed a little boogie with top class boardies Cat, Dolly & Amaroo which was a bonus :)

First The Big Bang Theory is somehow better than Father Ted.

Now Chic are better than BECK!

Doctor, doctor over here, we need a taste replacement!!!!

When you put it like that...
However 'fun' and 'quality' are often mutually exclusive.
But what do I know, I couldn't even be arsed to make a prejudicial conclusion based on some RTE footage

Sure you didn't even see chic, back in the hotel with your slippers on, drinking cocoa and watching RTE. And Father Ted is shite.
