plus cumberbatch & freeman don't really get on that well and only tolerate each other while filming.

tbh freeman comes across like a bit of a dick in interviews
He was much better on SNL though, to me thats what really matters.

He really does. I was surprised. He was borderline rude on Graham Norton the other day, acting like he was too good for it and then you contrast with Cumberbatch who seems like a thoroughly decent fella in every interview.

I feel like I might go back to it now. It feels topical.

Did anyone stick with The Good Place? It wasn't amazing but an easy watch. I was wondering how they would possibly stretch it beyond one season but the way they set up season 2 was very clever

I really like it. Haven't latched on to many new shows recently but thats one I'll be looking forward to from now on. Did it get renewed?

Dunno, but the way it ended means it will be very disappointing if it didnt.

watched The OA on a recommendation over the weekend.
i wouldn't recommend it
everything was going well until they started to get into the 5 movements crap, then it sort of lost me from an interested perspective. i think the episodes got shorter as well. it was no Stranger Things

I was pretty invested in the OA until
the final episode, it actually upset me how terrible that scene in the cafeteria was, so cringey.
I had been recommending it to mates as I was watching it, I felt I needed to issue a retraction.

Just finished first season of Halt & Catch Fire, quite enjoyed it too.
