Been watching Generation War, the German miniseries on BBC2 the last couple of weeks. 2 of the 3 watched and not sure how I feel about it. Kind of interesting to see it told from a German perspective but it all feels very forced and as a result not very believable

I wish a better actor was playing Littlefinger. He's very distracting with his ridiculous panto voice.

Same here, stopped watching 24 around season 4 but can't wait for the new series.

I know they showed it late last night on Sky, but I wonder will it be on On Demand right away or will they hold it back until tomorrow.

I do like it, and look forward to it. But it's kinda shite fairly often. You can't really compare it to any other show, but in the grander scheme of things it's nowhere near the best.

GOT
With Dany, considering those who haven't read the books are all hoping at some stage she makes a move for Winterfell.

But did she not pretty much say fuck that, I'll just rule here and it'll be grand. Thus negating all build up we've been hoping for

I really enjoy each episode of GoT but thats probably only to do with teh fact Im interested to see how they are gonna play out points from the book

But I've decided to just treat them as separate entities these days and not get pissed off if they make major changes, coz they've said they're going to do that and they're obviously doing it with the author's blessing, so fuck it

If anything it's just old now. It would be better if they had fresh or original villains rather than litter the place with younger (but older) characters. Plus given that lots of people tend to know the outcome of who killed the Waynes, the central plot is a little bit dull that way.

remember when games of thrones first started there were very real concerns over it getting cancelled mid season

now it's nearly quadrupled its ratings and become the most pirated show in the world

i think they should just cancel it at the end of this season for the craic

They hit 1m viewers for the season 4 premiere last month.

That is enormous by Sky's standards.

You wouldn't believe the amount of hardcore GOT fans who come to NI and absolutely lose their shit outside the Paint Hall. I was chatting to a woman at the weekend who went to the Dark Hedges and stood and cried because it featured in the show.

Gotham'strailer looked fairly shite alright. I'll give it a go, but I expect to be dropping it soon enough.
