The weeknd's new one

Everything I liked about his music at the start is gone now. I don't think the poppier production suits his 'fucking bitches / taking drugs' schtick.

I really don't think his voice is that impressive either. He's auto-tuned to death and any live performances I've watched have been really weak. Said it before, he sounds like a weedy MJ.

Tunes are grand but he's basically making music for teenage girls at this stage.

New Libertines album. It's not bad, bit more varied than their old stuff and sounds distinct from it, but very familiar Libertines/Pete Doherty all the same.

tbh though I can't see myself ever listening to it again.

So it goes.

A friend of mine is going on a two week cycle and he asked what three albums i would suggest to bring with him.
There's few more annoying questions than "name your top X of Y", where X is a number and Y is an art form.
When i mentioned some obvious shit i was rightly told to suggest something he doesn't know.
He's got a massive number of Facebook friends so he's just data mining really.
Right now i'm thinking of burning a single street musician's album for him. Good enough for him.

I don't say things without reason. Top tip for you there btw.
He has going on 3k Facebook friends, phrased the question in an impersonal "what 3 albums would you bring with you doing <cool thing> i'm doing" sort of way.
Would much rather post him something local i've been listening to recently 'cause he's not going to find a download and knows too many classics as it is.
