Haim

I honestly don't get what the fuss is all about. Saw them supporting Florence and the Machine last year and it was underwhelmingly 'meh' ... I wouldn't bother me arse going to see them.

Yeah I don't really get it either, very run of the mill pop rock stuff. And they look like Hanson.

Thought Haim were great when I saw them!

And would have been very much in the "What's the fucking fuss" camp before hand

That's a great lineup, don't think I've anyone to add that hasn't been mentioned... Band of Horses, Foster the People, Lykke Li, Jon Hopkins?

Listening to Darkside loads the past couple of days after seeing someone mention them here.

Really up my street. Lovely guitar playing + beats. Can't wait to see them at B&S now.

thanks for your help guys. Lord Percy seems to have been right lol.

It might have been best if people mentioned the same band others had before, like a vote up for certain bands.

I'll find a few. and then be told i'm going to see someone else by my friends when we're there

Can't embed the bugplayer but it's pretty neat:

New Bug album will have Grouper and Death grips on it.

New Sleep Thieves, Lana Del Rey and Klaxons albums.
Heard a few people giving out about LDR's being boring but I prefer it to her debut. This song especially, possibly the best thing she's done yet:

Reminds me of William Orbit.

OPN is great.

Thought the last album is outstanding.... R plus seven

Think he's doing some work with Hudson Mohawk now, mad sounding collaboration.

Listening to Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea - never got into PJ Harvey but I've had this for years and always thought it was immense. Had White Chalk too but thought it was kinda not great.

That's all I know. Where in the the discography to go from here, say you boardies?
