Discover Weekly coming up trumps again with this and loads more. Had read her name loads (probably on here mostly) but never bothered listening.

That's really good. Had similarly ignored her despite seeing her name about.

My spotify weekly thing was a bit lame this week.

Favourite new thing on it was this.

My Name Is Mud, just realised I come across as some grumpy bastard every time you post about music! I don't mean it!

Nearly finished listening to every Deerhunter track on my iPod. I'd say out of 516 tracks I have about 70 left to go.

Deadly, didn't know when it was out, presumed it wouldn't be for a while. Mountain at my Gates is class, have been listening to it loads

I dunno, the new Beach House album is very much just more of the same thing though isn't it? "Sparks" was indeed great (and one of my top songs from 2015 definitely) which made me hope there'd be more shoe-gazey type stuff on it. But for the most part Depression Cherry just sounds like a completely straight line from Bloom, which itself was just a completely straight line from Teen Dream. Beach House are obviously good at what they do but come on, a bit more variation and experimentation wouldn't go amiss like!!

I haven't heard any of their albums but Humanize is a cracking tune, and they're great live.

This is it. Solar Babies and Carmen are both class too incidentally.

Listened to The Ecstatic by Mos Def this morning for the first time. Sounds great so far.
