Cool.

Saw earlier that his soundtracks are getting rereleased & rerecorded) on Sacred Bones. Might have to get Assault on Precinct 13.

Any danger of an Irish date for John Carpenter lads; was hoping he'd show up at EP.

Tour dates say he's in Italy the week before so it might still happen.

Dunno how accurate this is or if its just someone guessing, but id be happy enough with it:

Biggest clash is Unsane vs Drive Like Jehu. Why put the 2 heaviest bands of the weekend on at the same time?!

Also must be a mistake with Brian Wilson as he's down for only 50 mins.

Hoping that's a bit off. Don't want to miss Vince Staples, I'll have to go to that Disclosure gig in Marley park otherwise. Bleh.

Thanks for that timetable link.

So relieved about Brian Wilson and Boredoms, that give my weekend a bit of focus, need to have my shit together for 5pm on Saturday.

Really looking forward to festival now.

I have an interview for a job I really want the week beforehand. I'm seriously hoping that they don't decide to do a second round during the week of Primavera (getting ahead of myself there)

That's the worst thing about festival time for me, every summer I'm looking for a new job so every summer I miss half a dozen things I want to go see for interviews. Wouldn't mind if they were ones I got a job out of.

Tame Impala John Carpenter is a bitch of a clash. I missed Tame Impala at the Picnic last year, told myself the only people I'd miss them for this time would be Radiohead or Avalanches. But John carpenter like...bollocks anyway.
Not too many other bad ones. Air and Kamasi Washington is fairly unintuitive scheduling to my mind. If you like jazz you probably like Air too.
Battles and Neon Indian, I'll probably be at Battles once again. Ho99o9 against Moderat will be a decide at the time thing.

Deerhunter vs. Drive Like Jehu vs. Pusha T is the clash that's killing me. I'll be skipping DLJ I'd say.

Going to avoid Kamasi in the Auditori as well. I figure that'll have a mental queue so I'll give it a miss.

Actually, good point. Mr K etc, what are the various stages like? Are most easy enough to get to or would there usually be bit queues for half decent bands?

You lucky lucky b@stards, that is an incredible line up some clashers there alright, also treat yourself to some nice Spanish absinthe at pretty affordable prices over there, have a good one.

Arriving on Tuesday the 31st, leaving on Tuesday the 7th. Trying to get a visit to Camp Nou in along with a good explore of the city too.

We're staying near enough to the Sagrada Familia I think. Whereabouts are you staying SB?

Im staying in Sant Adria De Besos which afaik is not even technically in Barcelona, but its within walking distance (30 mins max) of the festival. Ive already done all the touristy stuff so gonna try and spend the extra days checking out some other stuff.

Last time we went up the north coast on the train about half an hour. The beaches are far better. Cleaner, quieter, better looking, no pickpockets and you have a class backdrop of Barcelona city
