Primavera '16
Yo, Phier! Here's a link detailing what concerts you'll need reserved tickets for. Suede in the Auditori, the Hidden Stage and LCD in Barts are the ones in question.

Is the festival site the only place you can exchange ticket for wristband?

Just checking the route and if we land on time and get a taxi we should make it for Suede. It'll be pretty steep for a taxi but fuck it
Ah yeah, it'd be worth it. Also at least then you have the wristband and card and don't have to queue the next day.Rusty Shackleford wrote:Just checking the route and if we land on time and get a taxi we should make it for Suede. It'll be pretty steep for a taxi but fuck it

I'm about a ten minute walk from Sagrada Familia. Grand out.
If you manage to stay up for the trains that'll be good going. The queues for the buses are usually fairly bad so I'm planning on just walking it on the Thursday and Friday nights.

I'm surprised noone's talking about 2-dayer sessions (bad idea).
* speaking of which, with stage names like Heineken i don't have much faith in the food/drink options. ??
Wouldn't even think of attempting any kind of rollover session over there, I'd probably die.Phierstarter wrote:Should be fine with the right food* and pacing.

Yeah, drink options are fairly limited. Pretty crap beer and various vodka + mixer drinks that are all a bit more expensive than normal Barcelona prices. I remember absolutely nothing about the food, which suggests it was all bog standard.

I stayed in Poble Sec last year and the previous time I went to Primavera. It's actually grand. If you can get a taxi they can take the motorway up the coast road to the festival, it's only about 10-15 mins to the festival and not expensive at alli_ate_cats wrote:Staying in Poble Sec, not close to festival but looking forward to being in Barcelona.

The area is deadly as well, loads of cracking little squares
