Where'd you hear this btw cant find anything on it?

RHCP are utter dogshit nowadays but I still think a greatest hits set would be decent. Seen about 20 mins of them at Oxegen one year (after coming out of an amazing Sigur Ros set) and they were bleak.

Was listening to BSSM a lot recently. Such a class album

Bruce is decent alright, but having seen him once I wouldn't be going mad to see him again.

I'd actually like to go to Beyoncé, would imagine she puts on a hell of a show and will do Croke Park justice rather than just get lost in the scale. Plus I could bring the missus and build brownie points. Ah money.

Springsteen is €100 standing. Not sure if that's justifiable as an exercise in curiosity.

At croker?! fucking hell, that's robbery. There was outrage when he charged 90+ in Limerick(even though it sold out no bother). I saw him in the RDS and think it was 60. He doesn't even bring a big setup, fair enough he plays for 40 hours. But I'd rather an epic show for 2 hours.

Springsteen tickets have always been crazy expensive, no point paying for the €65 ones either as the sound will be shit at the far end of the stadium where I assume they'll be.

But surely you'd think with it being Croker he'd have said "fair enough, €70 tops for GA". 100 is a dick move.

i noticed straight away it was 100 euros. are the big stadium gigs in ireland not always deadly expensive, though?

we saw him in berlin 4 years ago and standing tickets were 55 euros. every other time I've seen him in the UK the tickets were never more than 50 quid.

I saw him in the RDS for about 60. That was 09 I think though. Since then he's charged 90 or more standing. Croker though I don't think has ever had €100 standing tickets. But hey his zombie fans will snap them up in no time.

well if he does play manchester then i really hope his pricing is nowhere near 100 a pop. i really don't think we'd be able to justify it.

It'll be interesting alright. I can't imagine them being much cheaper though as there'd be outrage here.

Didn't realise Foals were playing tomorrow. Could be tempted by a last minute trip to that.

booking fees are really starting to wreck my head now.

manics in swansea is an additional £4 per ticket. i'll be buying several too. best part of it is that i'll be opting for e-tickets so the cunts wont even need to send me anything.

there's a venue in town who only sell tickets through ticketmaster, nowhere else. got stung for an additional 6.50 in booking charges a few months ago. a quarter of the actual ticket price. it's just fucking wrong.

Yup! It's scandalous. And to bring it up again you have the new "official" touting websites like seatwave, owned by livenation, who own ticketmaster. They get a cut off the touted tickets, so they are making obscene money for just providing the website to give your money to.

Yeah, they've started taking the piss with it over here too.
They used to charge 6 euro to have the tickets sent to you, but now everyone uses smart phones, so no one uses that option.

Instead there's a 3 euro "admin fee" per order, as well as a 3 euro "pre-sale tax" per ticket.
But what is most annoying is that for concert venues there isn't a ticketmaster service - you buy the tickets directly from the venue.

actually, was anyone at Massive Attack the other day in Dublin?
Wondering how much the tickets were there.

Here it was EUR 47.00 + EUR 3.00 presale tax and then 3 euro order fee.
