springsteen is playing the etihad, tickets went on sale this morning.
£166 for 2 standing tickets. nearly 20 quid in fees on top of that.
fuck that for a game of marbles.

I saw Slayer do a sunny day time slot at Rock Werchter a few years back, they were good. Straightforward enough really. Wouldn't be a fan of them really mind but wouldn't be opposed to that sort of thing
Did I read recently that Phil Anselmo said Pantera were going touring again (minus Dimebag of course)?

DIdnt Phil Anselmo basically commit career suicide over the last month with his White Power bollocks.
A guy i know is the biggest Pantera fan ive ever met and even he has turned on Anselmo completely

Haha yeah did you see the clip and his subsequent apology.
"Jaysis there was a lot of drink taken that night," was the gist of it.

Mudhoney are playing The Black Box in Belfast. Seems like a small venue even for them these days. It only holds a couple hundred
Where did you hear this Rusty?
Any word on a Dublin gig?

Its on the Black Box facebook. Tix on sale and all already. No word on Dublin but seeing as how Mudhoney havent even announced Belfast that doesnt mean they wont be playing there too.
Ill probably check them out at Prima (or the free after prima gig) if im not too fucked.

bought latitude tickets over the weekend. i was never going to be able to turn down that line-up.
none of our group wanted to camp though so i have had to book a 'glamping' option which is 10 miles away from the festival site. it was the only affordable thing i could find within a 20 mile radius.
not done it like this before, will feel strange to be so far away from things. we'll be at the mercy of the taxi firms too for the entire weekend.

See the co founder of ATDI left the band a week before the world tour. Typical of them i suppose.
Yeah, there didn't even seem to be an announcement by them that it might affect the tour in any way. They started Tuesday anyway in the states, couldn't help sneaking a peak at the setlist.
Saturday should be good
