Got a ticket for Kurt Vile yesterday. Will get a Foals one if I can muster it after the weekend, really looking forward to that though I haven't gotten into the new album yet. Great live band though. Also picking up one for Basement Jaxx and the Orb in Vicar St on Halloween

25 quid maybe? Basement Jaxx DJ set mind.

Halloween party. Think there should be a few of us going as a couple of mates are home from Canada for a bit

TBH I'd actually be more interested in a DJ set by Basement Jaxx than a live show.

They're good and everything, but yeah.

I'd love to see Slipknot again. Only saw them once in 2004 supporting Metallica.

I liked a few Slipknot tunes but never loved them as much as other bands of the time so probably wouldn't ever pay to see them. Am still waiting to see SOAD and Deftones though :(

They played Dublin the Sunday night of Oxegen in 06 so couldn't go. Pretty sure it's the last time they played Ireland

Yeah would love Deftones and SOAD to play Ireland again. And Tool. Bands I got into too late.

Might have a spare ticket for Dam-Funk and Gaslamp Killer in the Sugar Club tonight if anyone wants in for free?

I would/will probably do a little cry if Tool played here. If they ever get the finger out.

Just googled it there, there's a new interview with Keenan in Rolling Stone, where's promoting his book and talking up a new Puscifer album...
So there was a conversation you had a couple weeks back with one of our writers, and he asked about the progress of the new Tool album, and you mentioned that there was no music to work with. And last year, another Rolling Stone writer talked to Danny and Adam, and they said that there was some new material. Can you help us get to the bottom of where you're at with the new record?
Do I seem like a lazy person to you?

Of course not.
OK — that's all I can really say.

So ...
They're working hard in their own way; I'm working hard in my own way, and I've got nothin' for ya.
:?
