i could see on twitter that their set-list was still being updated around the same time the belgian goal went in and stopped wales qualifying. thought nicky might have known or said something.

apparently they're going to do a mini-tour of france next summer during the euros. really hope NI get the job done and give me the chance to go over.

I felt last year was borderline on the capacity front. Any more would have took away from the enjoyment. Everyone's posts have confirmed they pushed the numbers too far adding more people. Glad I sold my tickets now! :sar:

And they've already promised to go bigger next year as well.

48,000 already sounded like a big festival.

It feels massive now, theres always big crowds everywhere. Trying to get decent food yesterday was a nightmare. The extra people kind of kills the buzz of B&S too.

the queues for the nicer food were always mental, though.

those pieminster queues in particular.

the queue for pieminister has always been mental at every festival i've gone to. I didn't wait too long for food anywhere.

The sunday felt very busy in the main arena though, especially around main stage and up to the stalls, but B&S/trailer park were grand

Happy with the glamping approach i must say. 2 minute walk from electric arena to my tent like, which was huge. could have slept 4, we had just the two of us.

the queue for kinara was ridic though - i couldn't have been arsed. looked like it'd be over an hour.

I know you all have mixed reports but overall Im kinda glad i missed it tbh

i feel like i had my time in the sun at EP and now its time to pass it on to the younger generation, let them enjoy it

i know festivals shouldnt be like that...e.g. glastonbury but Ireland is too small, electric picnic is too commercial and oxegen is too gone

these grown lads wrestling and chasing each other, though.

this is a new thing, i don't remember it from festivals 10 years ago, not even from 7 or 8 years back. but i see it all the time now.

tbh i've often seen that kind of messing back in the day...more at oxegen though than EP.

fair bit of it going on at slane this year too actually ...though the mud usually encourages it

some of yis on here are the fun police sometimes

As Mojo suggested, let the spas have fun how they want, shouldn't affect your fun

Don't think I've seen this before but I may have been guilty of this before.

Not the running around chasing bit but I have been guilty of having an odd wrestle/bjj session with friends. Usually in the staff section of glamping though to be fair.

If I bumped into some people from my gym it might spontaneously breakout in the festival depending on current intelligence levels.

If people are barrelling around tackling each other I'd say it's a huge ball ache if it was anywhere near where you're hanging out.
