I used to have to do stuff like that in my old job. That's pretty much it.

They called it "elevator pitch", in other words having some kind of line about your job that you could use to tell someone in an elevator what you did

Ugh.

That was hilarious. Out of twenty people only one discussed the job, everyone else asked me about my broken hand and and I just talked about that for the time instead of discussing work. Not the worst but it was still well awkward.

The worst part of this place? Customers - They have this pathetic sense of entitlement, just because they're business customers. No sir, you can't upgrade your phone 18 months early after breaking it. Fuck you. You should've insured it, you fucking clown.

The lady near me is wearing her bracelet with the charms on it again today.
I'm not to sure what she does with her arms while typng, but when she does the charms bang and rattle on the desk. Much more annoying than it reads.

Are thought showers really a thing
Apparently it's not politically correct to say 'Brain shower' anymore because of people who suffer from epilepsy

While on the phone to you? Fuck that. I'd ask them to ring me back when they've finished eating.

Fucking crisps of all things.

Only a complete arsehole would do that over the phone. I've had that with customers myself incidentally.

If ever you feel bad for forgetting to say thank you or absent mindedly letting a door bang behind you

Just think of the fucker eating crisps on the phone to someone in work!

Changing the name of things, like instead of calling it HR, calling it HC, for "Human Capital".

PricewaterhouseCoopers has named Amy DiGeso, 49, as global leader for human capital, succeeding William O’Brien who recently retired.
DiGeso, who will join PwC as a partner, was formerly president of Federated Department Stores’ direct sales subsidiary, Popular Club.
PwC CEO James J. Schiro said: “Our people are our brand, and nothing is more important to the future of the organization than the management of our most important resource, human capital.”
