New year, new me. Time to start looking for jobs I think I might actually enjoy rather than ones that just give me money.

That's the dream isn't it?

My job's alright. Could be a lot worse, though there isn't much room for career progression from what I can tell.
And even though it's a pretty simple job, I still manage to fuck things up much more often than I should.... >__<

My " boss" reminded me of the "Don't mention the War" sketch recently.
I don't think there' i any other thing you can be aware of that is such a judge of charachter as that.

i wonder are shivo and lumbo including bank holidays in their numbers
Yes, and no.

The legal minimum for full time jobs is 25 days.
When you work in a bank that is part of a banking convention you get an extra amount.
This extra amount depends on the collective agreement that's made every 2 or 3 years, plus when the bank holidays fall.

last year, I got 9.5 extra, but this year it seems that I get 11.5 extra because Stephen's day and another bank holiday fall on a Saturday.
Over here bank holiday's are on "2nd Monday of the Month" or whatever, they're on a specific date. if that date falls on a weekend people in the collective aggreement get a day added on. Those who are not are shit out of luck.

But the other regular bank holidays are counted in my total.

So to revise my post further back, I've actually got 42 days off this year.

No. Only because there is only me and a middle-aged, moustachioed man named Brian there, most of the time.

I doubt it, probably the main reason why I didn't do it
it would have just been a fun job on my part that took from the household rather than contribute anything
