Do you like your job??
the girl i always have problems with in here is now pregnant.. so now we have an already annoying person being extra annoying. moaning about her aches and pains and walking like leanne battersby when she was pregnant. carry on of her is ridiculous

I'm sure Ive mentioned this before but I used to work with a girl who called her bump Mojito because that's what she was drinking the night it was conceived. There's be just two of us in the lab and she'd be carrying on the conversation like there was 3 of us there because she was including the bump.
There was a pregnant woman sat beside me in work. She looked a bit like the Michael Jackson character from Bo Selecta. Every day without fail she'd pull up her top to rub her bump and announce to the office "He's kicking me like a donkey".
I still have nightmares about that.

Everything the nordie in my office says is followed by "so it is"
So it is
So I am
So it does
So they do
So they are
So you are
It's really fucking annoying so it is.

Oh I know it's a common thing in the north. It's just really hard to listen to all day so it is.

Over the past few weeks I've put a lot of thought into my career and decided that I am going to apply to move to another department. I was too fed up with myself and one of the girls covering 90% of the work, while two others were taken from our team and replaced with 1 useless girl and a new guy who's very, very green.
I was about half way through writing a message to my boss to ask for a quick meeting to let him know I'm applying for a role in our Depository Bank department when I got a message from the other decent one on the team asking for a quick meeting to let me know she is applying for a role in our Depository Bank department.
This is gonna be very interesting.

I've been working in community education for over 7 years. I like the work but there's no security and the money sucks. I've had ongoing issues with contracts and I'm fed up of it. There's no pay scale and I'm skint (relatively).
Going to try and make a career change to technical writing/e-learning. Got accepted to a part time MA in UL, have yet to accept it but think I'm going to take the plunge.
