I was thinking he would be back for a cameo, well a hyper violent brawl with Deadpool, at some point.

I went to see Logan, it was really good! I don't like X-Men movies in general, but this one was good! It was like an extended episode of Stranger Things

Was in the place they filmed that yesterday, didn't even know 'til I got home yesterday evening and read about it online! Beautiful place though.

Watched Doctor Strange last night. Was rubbish. Felt like the visuals lost a lot of their impact when not 3D; the story has been done a zillion times, all the actors phoning it in and (surprise surprise) a forgettable, almost non-existent villain.

I thought it was great with really inventive visuals and good action scenes. Just enough humour to cut through the crazy amount of exposition and stop it getting dull.

Also watched
Arrival - brilliant.
Nocturnal Animals - Good.
Fantastic Beasts - Shite. Wouldve been much worse if not for Redmayne and yer man
Logan - Brilliant, best comic book movie by far. Totes emosh

Get Out.
Cracking film. Jordan Peele from Key and Peele directs so it's a strange combination of their sketch shows unsubtle comedy and some very bleak horror dealing with insidious racism and the African American experience. Shouldn't hold together as well as it does.

Another  for Get Out. Really enjoyable. A nice mix of Horror/Thriller and a few bits of comedy.

kong was decent enough. he looks amazing, probably worth the tenner just to see him in action. otherwise its a cinema only movie really, you're not going to get much from it watching it on a tv. few laughs here and there, one of the better monster movies

Watched The Men Who Stare at Goats, last night. It's an interesting story, if nothing else.

Watched Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy for the Xth time last night. So, so good. Turning into one of my all-time favourites.

Would love to see Gary Oldman in anoter Le Carré adaptation, he's said a couple of times since then that it might be on.

Edgar Wright's new one.

Isn't a good trailer. Too long, too much talk and record scratch/funny line moments. But the film still looks vg.

Watched I Daniel Blake last night, think that's one that's going to stick with me for a while. Would make you so angry watching it.
I'm lucky enough to never have been on the dole so I don't know what it's like here but the thoughts of having to go through the system in the UK are terrifying.

Went to see Kong in a 4DX cinema in Orlando that had just opened that day. Probably the only time I'll try 4DX so thought why not, cause wasnt expecting much from Kong anyway

Its more like a theme park ride. Every seat moves, vibrates, drops etc.If it rains on screen ye get rain drops, same for snow, wind blowing when helicopters pass, air shooting out past yer ear when shots are fired. Seat thumps when Kong bangs his chest. You can smell grass etc. That kinda thing. And the film itself is in 3d. As a one off for a big blockbuster it was pretty fun, but I wouldnt do it again.

Image

Film itself was decent. Like a big budget B movie. John C Reillys comedy was good (from someone who usually hates that one liner shite)

Best part was

Shea Whigam thinking he was gonna save the day lol
