Audrey and Daisy - Harrowing stuff. Well worth a watch but it's not a pleasant experience. About a sexual assault cases in the states and the knock effect it had on the girls/town
Amanda Knox - two minutes in and the wife was saying she did it and she should be strung up. I never followed the case at the time but from what was presented there and at the trail it was fairly light on actual evidence to convince me she did it.
watched this last week as well, didnt think she was involved by the end of it. sounded more like dodgy police work than anything
Same here. That text she sent about seeing yer man later. In no universe would I have initially read that as 'I will see you later tonight' rather than a generic 'I will see you later'. Some elements were lost in translation I think.

Plus yer man was so against her kissing her boyfriend. You *absolutely* would seek affection and comfort from someone in light of a traumatic situation.

going by the documentary alone you would think she's innocent
but that's kind of the point of it - it's extremely light on information

also why did the papers keep mentioning drugs and there wasn't any mention of drugs in the film?

Watched Grimsby.

It's obviously crude and the storyline isn't up to much but there are some decent funny parts (and some crap bits too). Good if you just feel like throwing something on and switching your brain off.

Saw a 15min preview of Dr. Strange in 3D imax last night. Extended trailer basically. Looks good enough, standard Marvel stuff really. Witty one liners and loads of carnage. Climactic city-levelling battle at the end.

But the altered reality stuff, interdimensional what-have-you, very impressive psychedelic 3D madness. If you're inclined to see it atall, see it in 3D.

Yeah it's decent, just so bizarre the whole thing.
It's a pity they didn't get more out of the part when they stopped him on the street, could've been a bit more aggressive with the questions but I suppose the whole threat of being sued played it's part. And tbf, I kept forgetting he wasn't Louis Theroux.

Did you see the Q&A they did? The man himself turned up at it as well as the agro old lad that travelled to New Zealand.

Watched the Siege of Jodotville last night.
Incredible story. Can't imagine what that would have bee like. Particularly when you're getting attacked from the air as well, and being given no support.
And to be treated they way they were afterwards too is maddening. Everyone in Ireland should have known of this story long before now really.

Felt the film could have done the story a little more justice though.

Watched bad neighbors, I'm a bit sick of Seth Rogen's schtick but while not great by any means, it was good enough craic.

The second one is meant to be shite so I I'll be giving that one a miss. Don't see how it wouldn't just be a rehash of the same ideas/jokes.

Also watched "Hunt for the Wilderpeople" recently, very enjoyable and would definitely recommend it.
