The Guards - Shane Ormond & Kevin Keane
Solid supernatural crime detective story, an intriguing first entry in what I hope will be a great series. Published by Northpress Comics in Cork, nice artwork and lettering, will be following their output.

The Envelope Manufacturer - Chris Oliveros
Drawn & Quarterly head Chris Oliveros' first book, about the breakdown of a small order envelope manufacturer. Really well paced and quite dizzying, gets the disorientation of downfall across really well. Hope he makes more books.
