Jose sounds none too pleased with Smalling and Shaw for ruling themselves out of todays game because they werent 100% fit

Given the state of the back 4 I'm inclined to agree with him

Sounds like an eye injury might retire RVP.

We were pretty poor yesterday - never really got going.

Massive game at OT now. It's about time Wenger beat Jose in the league.

can you imagine the difference in how the comments would be taken if we had drop points? Its likely he would have said them too

You would wonder what the deal with Shaw is though.
2nd time being called out by mourinho now, and van gaal dropped him in it with the press too.

I hate the look of him. He looks like he should be on Geordie Shore or a similar show. Maybe Jose feels the same

He comes across like a lad unwilling to do the dirty work, get stuck in and the odd hand or elbow in the face. That probably sound like something Giles would say.

Actually, the stories at the time after the watford game was that the rest of the squad were shocked at the treatment of Shaw, because the squad knew he was playing through the pain barrier.
So now he's getting thrown under the bus for refusing to put himself in that position again.

That sounds like a no-win situation for Shaw.

You would have been rightly shagged if Pogba got booked too that game, lucky not to be actaully. Can't understand why Mou didn't take him off cos he looked like he was destined for one.

I think ye might miss Zlatan more than ye think, he's just getting back into form and Arsenals defence look shaky to me. I'd rather have him hassling Kosc and Mustafi as your striker than Rashford or Rooney.

I'm glad Ibra is out. He's exactly the kind of player who'd have a stormer against us and go back to being shit the following week.

Mourinho said: "Smalling doesn't feel that he can play 100% with his pain"

"For the team, you have to do anything."

"There is a difference between the brave, who want to play at any cost, and the ones for whom a little pain can make a difference," said the former Chelsea, Inter Milan and Real Madrid boss.

"If I were to speak with the many great football people of this team, they will say they played many times without being 100%.

"We have players on the pitch with problems. In every sport, how many times do you play and you're not 100%?"
Broken toe

Mourinho is right though. I remember Gary Lineker played half his career with a broken toe. he was always having pain killing injections for it. Loads of players have done.

But regardless, its typical fucking Mourinho to be making this shit public and fucking players under a bus.
