If you put 1c predicting the correct score in every match of a round, you'd win much, much more than 17,000.....you'd hit the max payout, probably.

I have no clue. I don't think she's should be but I genuinely wouldn't know.

Loved the way that it "apparently" was Drogba who recommended Liverpool. Probably all Mourinho's work.

If there's any truth to it it's probably more a LeBron James type "stake" in the club.

this is the point why Eto'o would make sense

And yeah, Lambert is there. But Lambert is a slight style change. To go from having a quick striker waiting to break on the last line, to having a striker we're going to have to work up to more everytime we have an injury, is a huge change

Liverpool managed to play nearly all of last season with 2 strikers because Suarez didn't miss a game after his suspension, and Sturridge got 75% of games.

Right now, there's only one great striker, and Lambert & maybe Borini. That needs to be amended. Hopefully a star, but more likely a stop gap

Got a choice of going to either Charlton or Millwall tonight for a match.

Not sure I'll bother with either!

So Lerner backs Lambert like you just said and ye pay Sanchez agent 14m, like city have just done for mangala.

14m of a 42m transfer fee went to mangalas agent Jorge Mendez.. That's insane.
Turns out now that it's back on, and he's likely to sign tomorrow. it'll be €2m to the guy's current club, and €4m to various third parties. That's just ridiculous

BBC reporting the Moreno fee as £12m.....looks like Liverpool might have called Sevilla's bluff (if that's the real feel), they needed to sell and noone else was willing to buy (at a higher price, anyway); http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/28765444

Shane Long to Southampton for £12m. I really like long as a player but the inflated prices are getting ridiculous. Transfer deadline day should be some amount of craic

apparently we're about to sign Rojo for £16m. Wasnt too impressed with him at the WC. And dont know how I fancy us spending £48m on Leftbacks with the other gaping areas in the squad

You'd think you're getting him in to be the LCB in a 3 man defense....though if that formation goes to shite then yeah, you've spent £50m odd on left backs.

Yeah thought he was the weakest player in Argentina's defense throughout the tournament.
We need more CBs and better CMs than LBs.

Yeah, it might look great for a while with the easy start they have to the season but I can't see that formation/style lasting

it's not only the formation, the quality of player in each position isn't looking great either

we looked very average tonight but hopefully it was because we were keeping one eye on the weekend
