I think Trippier is class. Really not sure why he's been rotated in and out with Aurier. Should be nailed on.

His crossing is brilliant, Poch just can't help himself rotating the full backs

Think he's agreed a new contract, not that it means anything though. And yeah, we're playing great since Dembele has got back fully fit, hopefully we can hold it together for another few months.
Dembele absolutely dominated the Arsenal midfield. He's such a good player.

He can be a bit dodgy defensively as well imo. Though not as bad as Aurier. Think he's the best crosser of the ball in the league after KDB

That was a really great game of football all round actually. Second leg should be a belter.

Hopefully Madrid v PSG tonight lives up to the hype

Looks like Mourinho has been using his little rat Duncan Castles to put stories about Pogba out into the media

Weird that I was kind of cheering on Chelsea last night. Such is my hatred for Barcelona. Was almost the perfect performance from them, bar the mistake for the goal. One they definitely could have repeated in the Camp Nou without having to change anything.

Liam Brady just, no-bullshit nailed-it talking about Mourinho.

“This guy just doesn’t fit Manchester United”

Employing Mourinho beyond this summer will be a disaster for United. He has steadied the ship to a degree but we are so far behind the other teams in England in our approach and ability to manage games that we'll only fall further behind with his methods. For all Mourinho is lauded as a pragmatic manager, and able to eek out results and 1-0 wins in big games, United are so easy to carve open it's embarassing. And despite us having one of the best defensive records in Europe, it's all down to one man, and it isnt Mourinho. We allow far far more shots on goal than the majority of teams. De Gea's 2 saves last night were saves that a keeper might have once every couple of season and be able to add them to a highlight real over the course of his career. De Gea is making them once every couple of weeks and keeping us in matches. If it wasn't for De Gea, Mourinho would already be gone imo

Mourinho's plan is to not concede and rely on a bit of magic from Sanchez/Lukaku - when that doesnt come he's fucked. They need rid of him and they need rid of Woodward from being in charge of football matters. Take the approach Arsenal have in putting in place a structure that will look after the footballing side of the club, regardless of who the manager is.

Something that's continued to puzzle me with United, I get how Lukaku is 1st choice and and such regularly seen as the priority option. I just don't get how he never ever gets subbed off, regardless of whether he's stinking up the place or not. So seldomly a case of Rashford or Martial in instead of him, even briefly.

In the league, only been subbed once, used as a sub once, and not played one. Other than that, played every minute.

Woodward is golden, and he's there for as long as he wants it unfortunately. He's gone one better than insulating the club from changes in manager. He's completely divorced the club from fluctuations in performances on the pitch, and/or a reliance on football results.

United are now just a massive global brand, that also happen to have a football team.

they're taking steps to mitigate against the inevitable turmoil when Wenger leaves. It's only been put in but something United need to look at imo. Woodward isn't fit to run hte footballing side

19 - Henrik Mkhitaryan lost possession with 19 of his 44 touches in the first half v Östersunds FK, at least nine more than any other player on the pitch. Struggle.

I think Sanchez got shit for losing possession 5 times in the whole game yesterday

Sanchez lost possession 35 times in a game recently...

We were a fucking embarrassment last night.

Mkhitaryan has been pretty much terrible apart from his debut. Sanchez has been pretty awful whenever I've seen him too. I reckon Sanchez will play himself out of it though.

Both of them look woefully low on confidence at the moment.
