Wondering if Mourinho, now that he has Sanchez and is saying we have a complete forward line, will through caution to the wind tonight and play Sanchez with Martial, Lingard and Lukaku

One player in on loan at Newcastle and about 3 or 4 out. That'll definitely help.

Thats what happens when you let lads run down their deals. Have you looked at the comments on Ornsteins tweets?

Funny that after complaining he doesn't have the money to compete with United, etc on fees Pep is able to drop a £65m bid for Mahrez just because Sane is out for a few weeks.

its a joke, no one challenging him on any of that coz they all idolize him. You'd swear he was doing with Ranieri did with Leicester.

£57m on Laporte an uncapped international, £35m on Ederson, £25m on Danilo, £56m on Mendy, £52m on Walker, £47m on Stones. That's their back line. No one is able to compete with them. Not to mention £42m on Otamendi and £35m on Mangala

And his bumboy Ballague saying Sanchez had the choice between money or Pep and he chose money. City were going to pay him a £30m signing on fee at one stage if he had waited until the summer and he would have been the highest paid player in the league anyway

Arsenal would be mad to let Chelsea buy Giroud

Yep. We've already solidified Uniteds top 4 spot. After last nights performance its unlikely we'll catch Liverpool or Chelsea but we can't just hand Chelsea Giroud and solve their striker issues either.

Saw on Reddit someone suggesting if City bought Mahrez today, Pep would have spent half a billion in 18 months (not sure what the Mahrez figure is based on, 60-90m). Even without it, 400m is silly stuff

I think Giroud will be a better fit for Chelsea than Morata. He will have plenty of pace off him and they get their attacking mids close in support because of the back five. He doesnt need too many chances to score either. Could have a brilliant partnership with Hazard

Gonna be interesting to see Arsenals 5-1-4 formation with Wilshere in the holding role. Unless he's going for a diamond wth Ozil behind Aub and Lacazette

If they feed him those crosses from deep that Azpilicueta is so good at he'll bang them in. His hold up and link play is absolutely top class too, Hazard will love him. His biggest issue IMO in his time at Arsenal was that he fatigues a bit too easily, he gets injured almost never but play him regularly for half a season and he starts to look like garbage. He wont have that issue at Chelsea though. And of course he can't sprint for shite.

Think he'll go 4-2-3-1, hopefully with Ramsey and Wilshere in the middle.

Sanchez settled in well last night

Mourinho got team completely wrong. Was delighted to see us so attacking but it doesnt materialise on the pitch. With the players available to him you'd expect at least a semblance of a threat. Herrera should have started to allow us get a foothold in midfield. Pogba showed last night he cant be trusted in a midfield 2 but we should be able to address it in January.

You could see Sanchez demanding the ball all the time in positions he would have got it at Arsenal and people not trying the pass in fear of losing it. Bit of a reality check for him Im sure

No point trying to play out from the back with Smalling and Young in defence, Smalling coz he's atrocious and Young being too slow on the ball to get it up the wing

Well Kane was offside for the first penalty. And for the second penalty was on Dele Alli so shouldn't count due to Boy Who Cried Wolf rules.

Everyone in the studio interpreted the 1st goal as not offside due to Lovrens touch. But by that logic, and deflected pass to someone offside should be fine. Unclear rule, as I’d understood the rules that that should have been off

2nd one was on Lamela. No real complaints

One gif looks like he nails him and the other somehow gives the illusion he doesn’t touch him (but he did)
