Fair play to arsenal. Mertesacker, superb. A great final, 2 teams interested in attacking . Eucrid and Bassoon should be proud. Moses is an idiot but don't think it affected the result. Best cup final of the week by a country mile.

It was a great match. Arsenal just wanted it more, first to everything. Incredible from Mertesacker for his first game of the season.

Ramsey was great too. When he gets a run if fitness he's an amazing player. Wonder how good he'd be if Shawcross hadn't been such a cunt.

I managed to nab a ticket - what a fucking day!

I couldn't fault any of them but for Mertesacker to come in and play like that in the circumstances was incredible.

While in a way it would be a perfect time for Wenger to bow out, I don't have any major issue with him staying on. The move to a back 3 has given me some hope for next season and more importantly, I have absolutely no faith in the board having a proper succession plan in place.

Succession plan me hole. Other clubs hire and fire managers on a whin but at Arsenal theres suppose to be some fucking massive plan. Fuck that. Just get a new manager and get on with it.

that wasn't a plan though! that was what happens when you don't have a plan and panic. The club wanted Jose, Jose wanted to come then Charlton put the mockers on it.

The Europa League really brought out the best in Jose

Tony Adams putting the boot into Wenger all over the press to try and sell his new book is pathetic...

£43m from where I've read. Apparantly he's kind of similar to David Silva but yeah I don't see where he'd play unless he straight up replaces Silva, which would be silly.

was listed as £60m when the story broke, then down to £43m when City officially announced it

£80m already this summer for ye, at least you're getting the business done already.

I can't wait till we sign 3 players in the last week of the window, after a failed pursuit of Bale all summer because he didn't play in teh CL final

reports that we've agreed a deal for Perisic

It's plain to all to see that Griezmann would have been a big step up on everything else we have at AM, but don't see what Perisic offers ahead any of the others. If it means Martial is off then its a bad move. Looks like Jose hasn't learned his lesson from DeBruyne or Lukaku. I could see Martial coming back to haunt us in a few years if he goes. He'd be perfect for Arsenal actually

I see Huddersfield Town got promoted. My friend has been a Supporter of them his whole life, in a semi-ironic way. He's thrilled.

They'll probably crash out again next year right.

It would be madness to let him go but I'd love him at Arsenal.

€100m bid for Mbappe and Ozil signing a new deal. Wenger is god 8-)
