Dunphy wants us to play more with the ball at our feet, has he seen the state of the pitch?

Trying to keep it for a little while wouldn't go amiss though. There's a bit of blind hoofing going on when we could play simple balls. They're not even long balls aimed anywhere at times, and it's not like we've been pegged in

I think there was a touch, at least that was my first thought, but he definitely threw himself down

This is all too familiar. We actually look like a decent team now. Why did we wait until we were 2-1 down to show it

shame we didnt' get the win, but a point away is a decent result. everyone looked knackered at the end of that. must have been like running on a sponge on that pitch
forgot that 3 out of our first 4 games are away from home

Bit puzzled by Randolph getting man of the match. I thought he was really ropey last night. Flapping at things, parrying things into danger areas.

Welan is a clown. I was only half watching the match but that Ward yellow was stonewall imo.

After the demise of the Setanta Cup, Linfield are now playing in the Irn Bru Challenge Cup, basically the Scottish league cup without SPL teams. Been drawn away to Queen of the South. Looks like a fun away trip.

Dunphy seems to have had a huge change of tack too i've noticed lately.
Going out of his way to be far more positive in his analysis. still prescribes a course of Wes Hoolahan for whatever ailes you, but i wonder if Johnny Giles getting the heave-ho has put the wind up him a little, and he's decided he ain't gonna go out like dat.

he started by saying the coleman was awful at the euros (not fantastic, but not awful) and saying he's not the character for captain, which I think is the opposite of what he showed with the armband on

Dunphy also had a go at Brady for talking about Trapatonni but then mentioned him two minutes later when masturbating over Wes Hoolahan. The mans a walking contradiction and a bit of clown. Can't stand him.

He can't go more than 2 minutes without mentioning Wes, it's almost like an involuntary tic at this stage. You could tell he was even trying to hone it in a bit by mentioning Quinn first every once in a while but then straight back to Wes.

Our midfield was shocking though tbf.
