hasn't been handled well it seems. his getting a wingers number, so if he's gonna play as a winger i don't see a whole lot wrong with that, but if he didnt' know anything about it then that's another story

£15m for Ibe, £13m foe Allen, potentially £30m for Benteke, £6m for Brad Smith.....absolutely mental money for lads who would have struggled to get many starts for us next season.

I'm only a casual follower of the premiership anyway, but I'm sick of seeing articles that try to make people feel guilty for not following league of ireland.

"Best fans in the world? Then why weren't you down watching Castledermot v Drogheda u18s in the rain last week, EH?"

Seen loads of that kind of shite this week for some reason.
The militant LOI fans would wreck your fucking head.

It's because Dundalk beat some Icelandic team in the champions league qualifiers.

I might start winding them up on twitter

I quite enjoy watching Irish League football, and on occasion would try and encourage people to come along. But yeah, the people who give it all that crap about you should go watch it instead of X v Y on TV annoy me too.

If you make a list of our squad, there's about 35 players who could be deemed either useful or an asset worth selling. Our squad is packed at the moment. The only real spot I think we need to sort is LB. and if we're selling Smith, it's just Moreno and Flanno, and would expect we do something about it. Whether it's an actual starter like Hector we go for, or backup like Chilwell remains to be seen

Moreno as undisputed 1st choice isn't a good look though

Same, i go to quite a few Galway Utd games. But i wouldn't be lambasting anyone for not going. Particularly someone who saw the appeal of combining following the irish football team, with the opportunity to take a summer holiday in France.

Is there any official word on it yet? I'm not surprised if Ibra demanded a number but surely it was discussed with Martial?

don't think so. i just read some crap about how he changed his facebook profile to him with a number 9 on his back, or something like that. it's being made out in the media like it's a slap in the face, but who knows internally. i doubt they just didn't tell him

Eir Sports are some cheeky bastards. They lost the 3pm games to Sky, and didn't reduce their subscription charge. Rang to cancel there, yer wan offered me discount for 2 months, 25 to 17, fuck that! Should be 15 or less forever due to them losing 30 games a year. She says "ah they were the bad games", haha like fuck you!

Anyone got any good nefarious online methods of watching the games? The ones ya pay for.
