We did well in that half. Looked the more dangerous until that last couple.of minutes there. That Ox miss is a sickener though. What was he at.

He even had a look and saw him coming and still swung at it.

Wenger deserves that moment from Flamini for persisting with him and signing a player in January they he wont use ahead of him.

Even by Wenger standards that was an astonishing substitution unless Coquelin was injured. I'm sick of watching Flamini. Mertesacker was as much to blame for the goal though.

It's too early to call but Elneny hasn't impressed me and I'd be worried about Wenger's attitude towards him so far. At the very least it's pretty obvious he was brought in to make sure he's settled in for next season rather than to provide a genuine ready-made option for the run-in.

Mertesacker and Flamini were equally to blame for the second.

Youd have to wonder why Mertesacker is getting caught on the halfway line for the first goal against Barcelona. Wenger simply shouldnt allow him to be that far up.the pitch.

Adam Johnson eh. Team mates have fairly scarpered as well. He's in a lot of trouble.

And his Mrs says they're now "just friends"

That one's been cut and shut for a while, sure they've been reading out his texts for over a week now, absolutely no defending it.

Yep he's absolutely buggered. He admitted all that and then denied he googled age of consent in relation to her, claiming it was to do with a Ross kemp documentary. Talk about grasping at straws!

Amazed that Sunderland kept him on after he admitted it to the Managing Director or whoever she was of the club too.

Yup he's dropped them in it bigstyle with that admission. In fairness they were being very kind to him(and obviously looking out for their own asset) so you would have thought he'd repay the loyalty by not mentioning that little fact.

I think as well you have to let these things play out in court. If they'd sacked him it would have added to the speculation and thats not helpful for anyone, including the people prosecuting him.

What did he admit to them though? Cos he's still only admitting to grooming and kissing and denying the more serious charges.

But grooming and kissing an underage girl should have been enough for them to sack him. Especially as he met her through the club!

Is he not claiming he didn't know her age as well though? I don't know, i haven't really followed it.
Club sort of had to stand by him almost, presumption of innocence etc.

Did he not google Age of consent after he rid her?

I think he asked her by text what age she was at one point, he certainly is reported to have asked when she was 16.

Not sure if he asked that before or after "coincidentally" googling the age of consent.
