Memphis was the only Utd player with a bit of fight in him in the first half, so it makes perfect sense subbing him off. Meanwhile Rooney continues to plumb news depths of absolute shit.

Mephis want involved at all and did nothing to help ashley young out.
It took him about 15 mins to even get a touch of the ball.

Rooney needs to be dropped ASAP. If there's one positron we've got options for its no.10.

Does Rooney have a clause in his contract stating he has to get games? Amazing he hasn't been dropped yet. And United are saddled with him for another 3 years on that crazy money

He must be the most ineffectual captain in the league.

Well that was great. Delighted to see the players respond like that. Theo is turning into a top striker, his movement and work rate today were top notch. Our whole attack was clicking really. Sanchez, Ozil, Ramsey all had a great games too. And Apart from the West Ham game Cech has been imperious.

If they don't get one of the top two there it might be more of the same.

Spurs (a), Southampton (h) & Chelsea (a) next 3 league matches - that's a tough enough start for a new manager.

"Jamie Carragher 40/1"

Maybe that's why Henry fondled his knee when he heard.

2 midtable sides and a relegation battler, could be a lot worse.

Can't stop laughing at Henry's reaction to the news in the sky studio.

A mate said the same earlier. Maybe it's Chelsea who need him more.

Fuck, I've been offline all evening and have just seen the news. It was always coming but happened sooner than expected. I guess there will be an announcement made in the next day or two of the replacement. Another rebuilding phase, yay.
